Dear Mr Miles,
I am in receipt of your letter
dated 19 August 2010, with the Council's
response to my complaint. Many of the details of my complaint have been
ignored, which leads me to question whether you put them to the Council
in the first place. I have therefore put in another Freedom of
Information request for you to provide me with a copy of the letter
that you sent to the Council regarding my complaint, which you have
never sent to me.
Further to the local press
revelations, that I sent to you, showing
that the Chief Executive Portsmouth City Council and the Member of
Parliament, who also happens to be a Councillor holding the planning
portfolio, are both Freemasons. I would like a firm assurance from the
Ombudsman herself that at no stage will my complaint be handled by
anyone who is a member of the Freemasons.
When I have this information,
I will then be in a position to
respond to the Council's inadequate response.
