Miles, Thank you
for
your email. I have also put in an FOI request to the Council for this
information. They, the Council, have no exemption whatsoever from the
FOI Act not to provide this information. I should also point out to
you, although I should not have to, that in the interests of justice,
any response from the Council should be provided to me to comment on,
particularly if they have marked it confidential, for the simple
reason that not only have I caught them lying to the Local Government
Ombudsman before, but I have been able to prove it - not that the
Ombudsman did anything about it! I trust that you are well aware that
any cover up will meet with wide publication and not be at all in the
interests of the Local Government Ombudsman. Your
