OMBUDSMAN WATCHERS RESOURCE CENTRE

Letter to Parliamentary Ombudsman, 10th December 2008

Dear Ms Abraham

I am, as you know a persistent complainant in regards to continuing public sector corruption.  Remembering your own little ombudsman 'gaffe' in my case where you produced 'porkies' trying to alleviate corrupt acts by your colleagues within the severely dysfunctional, often corrupt H. M. Revenue.

In your 'Summit of Virtue' moment I wondered whether you had informed the Law Commission of your diabolical act of revenge, having us phoned 3 nights running by a spurious 'ombudsman survey team'?

This act was particularly despotic since we informed you we did not want to take part in your charade!  We have learned over the years that because of its continuing abuse of the electorates complaints, the ombudsman service is 'unreasonably persistent' in its corrupt acts in putting down criticisms from the public. The latest of these corrupt acts to appear within the public sector can be seen in the despotic Haringey council.

It appears that out of 115 complaints made to the LGO re Haringey's appalling laxity re child protections  - only one (1) was upheld.  This was the usual ombudsman contempt for public opinion? It has been said this ratio (115 - 1) is statistically impossible?   Ombudsman have been known to go out of their way to give protection to public sector miscreants and the most serious of council despots!  LGOs continued support for corrupt councils and staff allowed the development of an Orwellian protective 'nightmare of indifference' towards child abuse in Haringey. The ideal of proper ombudsman service has, by devious design, taken a stance against the public interest!

It needs to be taken into consideration that statistically, if 115 citizens bothered to complain, then hundreds more with grievances would not have bothered because of being frightened of hounding, the public sectors 'hanging out to dry' routine, or because of the well known fraudulent LGO's persistence in finding in favour for corrupt councils. Is it that LGOs are only geared up to maintain the horrid status quo, with the usual toadying up to council officials?

Ombudsman generally show much arrogance against the public interest - an insolence of office - where many a deceitful 'old pals act' decision goes against honest public expectations and often rule of law?  Its fairly obvious that with such collusive LGO failure at honest regulation within councils, has meant that numerous despotic officials were allowed to freewheel within Town Halls, destroying the democratic principle of public service accountability.

In doing so the LGO's negligence in such regulation allowed seriously out-of-touch, unworldly and often incompetent social workers and councillors to continue to run the worst child-care council in the country. Will this ridiculously incompetent LGO, who should be guilt-laden, resign? Of course not, he is on a 'nice little earner' at the expense of brutalised children under his watch?   If other failing Haringey despots were forced to resign, then why not this idiotic LGO?  Its about time LGOs were abolished!

Were the LGOs guilty of giving Haringey council/child care glowing report/s?  At the same time as these lowbrow, Haringey officials were browbeating whistleblowers, they were negligent in dealing with paedophiles within their midst?  All this points to the fact that corruption within Haringey and child welfare was systematic. But moronic regulators like Ofsted and LGO failed to spot it?

History of council child abuse tells us that all suspicious actions need investigating? In the past abusers have found a comfort zone within councils; with such a delicate subject one need to be suspicious re non-reporting?  Especially where there is an abundance of evidence available for regulators to probe. Child abusers and paedophiles come from all walks of life!  Corrupt councils are not the place for unworldly indolent ombudsman!

Too many regulators were too ready with 'old pals' decision in Haringey.  It happens too frequently - where an unhealthy council cesspit culture is allowed to overflow - but despite the stench - collusive regulators continually upheld the smelly public sectors protective 'old pals act'.

A national public sector 'Cleansing Day' is needed, where marchers could call for the sacking of all council despots including 'crooked regulators'. Hundreds of thousands of ombudsman victims throughout the nation could celebrate the prospect of much needed transparent Local Government!  Then we may well see an improvement in child-care?

However, the public are well aware that the tightly twisted ombudsman protection racket will have a convenient 'cover-up' get out, where the ever convenient lie, the laughable 'Lessons will be Learned' routine will effectively be put into motion.

Your honest 'unreasonably persistent complainant' re governmental corruption!
