Letter to Minister of State for Armed Forces, 13th March 2007
Dear Minister
I was encouraged by your concern in today's Daily Politics BBC, as to how some injured British soldiers have been shabbily treated in hospital. I can remember you saying recently that the Army's 'long record of success rests upon the qualities of its soldiers in the heat of battle' etc. I am a long-time war pensioner now being abused by over protected civil servants
Over the last four years I have been fighting public sector corruption by the Valuation Office Agency and particularly one of its corrupt female staff. The Parliamentary Ombudsman had reinvented `porkies` in order to protect this female and the VOA. Despite the very obvious, this fraudulent Parliamentary Ombudsman claims to see no evidence of corruption.
Because I persisted in my claims of public sector corruption the Ombudsman saw fit to close down my case. I a proud English war pensioner had been disenfranchised by the actions of dishonest civil servants. Honest soldiers who have ‘done their bit’ do not deserve such fraudulent governmental treatment.
This un-British action by rogue officials against a war pensioner during four years of struggle against their lies, are proof, that the politically incorrect Royal Prerogative that gives immunity from prosecution to these public sector miscreants, are a great threat to our democracy and human rights. Such corruption under the guise of the Royal Prerogative is an insult to the queen and the British people.
Such is the perfidy of human beings, it is a political error to give anybody political immunity from prosecution, a sure breeding ground for megalomania!
Such conditions breed a culture of contempt for public duty. The nation is now aware that the whole political set-up is too often fraudulent, where immune politicians along with their public sector apparatchiks are no longer trusted.
AS AN OLD SOLDIER, A WAR PENSIONER, I HAVE TO ASK: 'IS THIS WHAT WE WERE FIGHTING FOR – THE MELTDOWN OF DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS BY DECEIVING WHITEHALL PREROGATIVE PROTECTED PEN PUSHERS'
How many of today's injured soldiers will in later life, if they have a public sector complaint, be corruptly handled by these abominable untouchable/ protected Ombudsman Officers?
